I found in class A most all cars work best short ratio with turbo 3. Some cars with highest mph work best with turbo 2 like the GT-40 and Aston Martin One-77. Some tracks would realistically be best with turbo 2 but in Torn racing turbo 3 seems to be the best for many cars even the Ferrari 458 in tracks like Vector?

But looking at the class c speed records it seems the BMW Z8 holds the speed records for quite a few of the tracks. So either of the 2 should work as long as you upgrade the car as much as possible. Once you have entered the race, you don't have to watch at all, and can be hospitalised without it affecting the race. You just can't travel until your car has finished the race.
