I've always preferred to have my root (C:\) folder as clean as possible will minimal subdirectories and the same goes for my user profile (c:\Users\tkeating) folder.

Within the last week, we have introduced Lync 2010 Enterprise Edition into our environment. For some reason, the Lync 2010 client is creating a "Tracing" folder in everyone's user profile. For most implementations, this might not be a problem. However, we use roaming profiles and this tracing folder is wreaking havoc with user log offs.
