This was , of course, a specially built 350 with 5 clutches in top gear. It was a 6.99 1/8 mile car. Point: 350s are stronger than most give them credit for. BUT, as Chris mentions, his STOCK T400 wins hands down. A 350 with the drum machined for 5 clutches and an aftermarket sprag is very hard to kill.

Discussion Starter · #1 · Mar 2, 2009 I am racing on a 1/4 mile dirt track and our rules require a turbo 350 trans with 3 forward gears and reverse. What i would like to do is remove 2nd gear and just have first and third. When the shifter was in second gear it could just default to 1st or third, that wouldnt matter just as long as it went forward.
