Usually, all braces below the soundhole are kept between 1/4-5/16” tall or 6.5mm-8mm tall. The height of the x-brace at the lap joint is kept between 1/5-5/8” or 13mm-16mm. the highest point of my scallops on my tone bars are 3/8” tall or 9.5mm tall. The peak of the scallop near the edge is exactly 3” from the perimeter.
