UNOH sent 3 cars driven by 3 different drivers and crewed by 24 members of the team. At one point even, the legendary owner/promoter of Eldora Raceway, Earl Baltes, owned Limaland. But in 1998 the track really took off when the University of Northwestern Ohio bought it in order to expand their high performance automotive program. UNOH’s ownership of Ohio’s “1/4 mile of Thunder” kicked off a number of improvements to the facility.
