Tom Becker started ski racing with the Brattleboro Outing Club in Maple Valley, Vermont. This was just a weekend program so eventually he wanted more and went to Carrabasset Valley Academy in Maine in 7th grade. His peers at CVA were Bode Miller and USST Coach Forest Carey.
