Ms Elizabeth Clarke - Deputy Chairperson. Ms Elizabeth Clarke has had a long involvement with racing in Victoria. She served on the Board of Harness Racing Victoria from 2012 to 2019 and as Deputy Chair from 2016 to 2019. She was also a member of the Harness Racing Victoria Integrity Council and Show Cause Committee Member between 2012 and 2019.

I was pleased (and immensely surprised) to discover that the clean power generated by some of the waters from the upper reaches of our Derwent River has been supplied to the Victorian Racing Committee. The Melbourne Cup event and all others at Flemington are powered by our Derwent River. Amazing! At best, the other connections are slim.

Judge Julie Nicholson – Member. Judge Julie Nicholson was a Judge of the County Court of Victoria between 2001 and 2014. She was appointed as a Judge in July 2001 following 18 years of advocacy and advisory roles. Judge Nicholson has also served as Deputy Chair of the former Victorian Racing Appeals Tribunal.
