Ilmor Marine, (a division of Ilmor Racing) buys the V-10 Gen IV from SRT and marinizes it. They completely disassemble the engine and put their own forged internals in it.

Extremely strong as they run in arguably the toughest enviroment possible for an engine, this at 6000 rpms + for hours at end. They must have a really good 'recipe' for how to set them up. Anyone having listened to a side by side pair of V10's, on the water, know what I am talking about when I say that not much comes close to the sound.
