0.153 is 2 years old at this point, so I'm not sure. I know it does now, but I'm not sure it did then. Why would any sane person run a version of MAME that is so old. Its not like the latest version is hard to get working (or to find ROMs for if you spend 5 minutes with Google)

It's just, I saw a video by Digital Foundry on this game yesterday and I thought I'd give the arcade version a run. I agree with you the rom's not in the 0.78 romset, but I found it very easily and I read it required a BIOS file to run. I found said file just as easily, but it is not working for some reason.

Feb 23, 2008. #10. To get Daytona working in MAME and Nebula Model 2 you have to go into the setting menu of the game (F12) then go to "Game System". Go down to "Link ID" and set it to "Single". Nebula Model 2 is the much better emu for Daytona right now and yes Virtua Racing has been playable in MAME for some time.

I can get Outrun to (sorta) work, but I can't get Crusin' USA and many others to work with the pedals. I set Pedal 1 to Accelerator, Pedal 2 to Brake.
