Warbird Racing Elimination Style New to Racing! The Eliminator Racing series is design for pilots of all sorts. If you are new to pylon racing; then start with the “Run What You Brought” class. All you need is an RC plane that can fly around 100MPH. The rules are design to reward the pilots that are consistent, not necessarily fast.

At this workshop, you would be assigned to an experience pylon racer. He will walk you through everything that is involved in the racing and answer any questions for you.

From pylon to pylon the distance is 300 feet (or 100 yards). The heat consists of 7 laps and with an air start and countdown to the startline. If a pylon is cut, a line judge calls out the plane and the pilot must immediatly recircle the cut pylon. 4 planes max to a heat. The Planes: Must be a GWS WWII Warbird.
