    The torque spec/limit is dictated by the stud diameter and thread. Not by the wheels. That's why they couldn't give you an answer. There are torque charts you can look up the specs on. Off the top of my head I believe that 1/2-20 studs are in the 100 ft/lbs neighborhood. But you have to consider the nuts too.
