I will speak from personal experince, i had this intercooler on my 05 srt-4, my mods where agp wastegate, full 3' exhaust, spiking 19psi. I had the same mods with a stock FMIC and the XO2 intercooler and to be honest the car felt smoother and stronger with the stock FMIC. For some reason my car never felt the same with the XO2 installed.

The uppipe from them is one thing I wish I wouldve changed, the ID is really big and I think it threw off the tune alittle bit.

Only show this user. After doing some research I decided to go with the CX Racing front mount intercooler kit on ebay. For $265 it seemed like a great deal. Upon arrival the kit was in decent condition. Being a new kit I expected it to be dingless, but there were a few nicks here and there. It's a cheap ebay intercooler though, so no biggie.

The most important part which is the reason I posted was to show how restrictive the CX racing 3" coolers are they are simply to small for a v8. They are rated at 700cfm and this treadstone I have now is rated to flow a little over 1400. An S trim's max flow is 1050 so buying a 3" cxracing is a restriction even on the entry level blowers.

Cx racing n Godspeed intercoolers have ridiculous pressure drop . If you want a good cheap bfmic get mpx .i have this one on a 50 trim , and it delivers good performance . Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app

+1 I got the ebay x02 racing tmic with y-pipe, works great for the money. The only problem i had was the intercooler was rubbing against my a/c line. ... This fmic kit allows the use of a turbo xs type h series BOV or the retention of the stock BPV for best performance.
